Friday is crab day at the Dartmouth Food Fesival this year so if you're not eating, catching or cooking crab you'll be missing out! There is plenty going on to celebrate this wonderful local food and here at RockFish we're joining in.Every table of 2 or more who are eating and ordering a bottle of wine with us on Friday 22nd October will recieve a complimentary pot of local South Devon crabmeat to try out and we are really happy to recommend it, it is fabulous. Our first visit to Rockfish was fabulous, the food was delicious, especially the mushy peas! Staff were very friendly but a little disorganised....we didn't mind too much because they were lovely and apologetic. The knickerbocker Glory was absolutely to die for. However, our second visit was a dissapointment. Staff really were very disorganised and very forgetful. It was very busy and I can't fault the staff for their courtesy and we will come back, the food is really lovely (mushy peas on second visit were far too peppery though)but the service did spoil it a bit second time around. All in all though, feel very lucky to have this restaurant nearby, it's a real treat.
