WOW....We ate there twice in 3 days! - Tiff Horsley, Essex
Sep 13 2011I stumbled across this restaurant on the net & once I discovered it was Mitch's I knew I had to come. I was staying for a week before my cousin's wedding & we came across on the ferry to give my 3 year old daughter a trip out. Food was amazing, portion sizes excellent & service was great. Decor was spot on & a had a lovely fresh feel. My daughter has since become addicted to calamari! We enjoyed it so much that we brought my wife's parents there 2 days later. One is from Galicia in Spain & the other is from Mauritius & hence love seafood. Amazingly we sat next to the boss (which made my Wife's holiday!) We chatted to him about local seafood & he kindly prepared us some local South Devon Crab, which we all agreed was the best crab we'd ever had... Will definitely be back & recommend a visit for any foodie...especially fish lovers.. Thanks again Mitch & can't wait to come back.

Aug 04 2011We came down for a whistlestop visit to see family in Brixham. Hopped on the little ferry across the river for late dinner last night at RockFish on their recommendation. I must say it's the best 'scampi' I've eaten. All 5 of us ordered different things and even our 13 year old was happy. Really great, casual feel to the place. Loved it!

Aug 04 2011My husband was having a procedure at the hospital that required him to be starved for 48 hours. I have always said that I hate fish and chips but knowing he liked them I suggested that as "the condemed man's last meal" we go to Rockfish. It was wonderful. I have never in my life njoyed fish and chips till we went and sent a message to the chef to say so. We now frequently go and am looking forwrad to going next weekend. Scrummy!

Jul 23 2011Had a wonderful lunch, only disappointment was that my wife ordered halibut, a normally delicately flavoured fish. However it had been cooked on the grill with mackerel (which was a speciality of the day) and its flavour completely overpowered the subtle flavour of the halibut. We will visit again but will check the specials first!
